July 18 saw the official opening of the CFS Care Hub in Bolton. The newly opened centre will provide a single, central point, from which we can operate our administrative services and meeting rooms for training sessions, family meetings and care workers. It’s opening represents a key milestone in the growth of our company and is a base from which we can deliver our leading, innovative care services.
The event saw a presentation from the CFS Care leadership team on their vision and services to numerous local authority staff and care workers from across the North West.
Following the formal presentation, the hub was opened to the public who were invited in to find out more about the operation and how it will work to help support vulnerable children and young adults across the region.
Entertainment came in the form of a bouncy castle, face painting and live music, whilst refreshments came in the form of a BBQ and ice cream van ensured adults and children alike had plenty of fun.
We are delighted to announce that we have also offered the use of the property’s extensive grounds to a neighbouring school to add further value to the local community.
From our central Hub in Bolton, CFS Care will provide bespoke and targeted support to families experiencing difficulties due to a range of complex needs and will offer evidence-based assessment and intervention services that are solution-focused and built upon the strengths and needs of all individuals.
Those services include an immediate response service for families in crisis, with a full commitment to partnership working. The Hub offers intervention and respite services that aim to help parents cope and counter placement breakdowns for those children and young people in care.
In response to the open day, the Operations Director of CFS Care said, “Overall our Launch day was a huge success, to see so many social care working professionals attend and invest their time in understanding what we offer as a social care provider was incredibly valuable, especially as they share our ethos, values and ethics. To also witness the local community and children engage in the afternoon’s activities we provided was also incredibly rewarding and supports our commitment to investing in the local community.”
Special thanks must go to Cheryl Hill, of We Are Chill for organising the event on our behalf.
